Banking is frequently reduced to cold metrics—interest rates, routing numbers, and account balances—but for Bank of Marin, we wanted to tell a story about the human courage behind those figures. The "Jump In" campaign was designed to shift the narrative from transactional to transformational, moving beyond the sterile tropes of traditional financial advertising. The challenge was to visualize the abstract concept of a "financial journey" and the precipice of a major life decision. We aimed to capture the universal feeling of anticipation that comes with starting a business or buying a home, framing financial security not just as a safety net, but as a launchpad for life’s boldest moves.
Ultimately, "Jump In" serves as a statement of intent that aligns perfectly with Bank of Marin’s mission of empowerment. By focusing on the emotional payoff rather than the paperwork, the spot reframes wealth management as a tool for creativity and growth. The commercial acknowledges that while the bank provides the security, it is the customer who provides the bravery. It invites the audience to stop waiting on the sidelines of their own lives, delivering a powerful visual promise that when they are finally ready to take control of their financial destiny, they won’t be jumping alone.
