Capturing the Spirit of Santa Clara University

Santa Clara University sits in the heart of Silicon Valley, embodying both innovation and personal growth. It’s a place where students are shaped not just academically but holistically—encouraged to explore, express themselves, and grow into well-rounded individuals. Capturing that essence on film is one we embraced with care and creativity.

A Vision to become more

Our recent work for Santa Clara University went beyond creating a standard promotional video. Instead, we aimed to tell a story—a story about possibilities, individuality, and the vibrant community SCU represents. The goal was to reflect a university that doesn’t solely define itself by tradition or religion but by its commitment to helping individuals unlock their potential.

Through dynamic and thoughtful visuals, we aimed to capture the moments that bring SCU to life. Whether it's a water polo player slicing through the water with determination, a musician lost in the deep resonance of a cello, or a skateboarder defying limits to reach new heights, these images celebrate the many ways students discover their passions and challenge themselves. We also highlighted students expressing their individuality in their own voice about striving toward becoming more.

Cinematic Lighting

We leaned into natural light—sunlit pathways, glowing windows—to lend an optimism that mirrors SCU’s own atmosphere. The visual warmth wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was about making the university feel alive, as if you could sense the energy and ambition of the students who walk its grounds.

More Than a Tour

When you watch, you see more than just a collection of campus shots. The spot reflects a philosophy, an ethos. Santa Clara is a space where growth is both encouraged and tangible—not just intellectually, but emotionally and personally. SCU’s core message, “Becoming more,” holds up beautifully against what we captured on-screen. It felt important for this film to highlight the balance SCU strikes between academic rigor and developing individuals who want to make a difference in the world.
